Bros Vs. Pros promotion Terms and Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions of the 'Bros Vs. Pros Promotion' (the 'Promotion') for www.888poker.com (the “Site”). The Promotion is organized by 888 UK Limited, who is the operator of the Site ('us' or 'we' or 'our' or 'Company'). Your participation in this Promotion shall be deemed to constitute your complete acceptance of the provisions below.

General

  1. The Promotion shall commence on 14/1/2019 and shall conclude on 20/1/2019 (the “Promotion Period”).
  2. No-one under the age of 18 or the age of legal consent for engaging in the gambling services made available through the Site under the laws of any jurisdiction, whichever is higher may participate in this Promotion.
  3. For security and verification purposes, we reserve the right to limit participation in this Promotion to one person for each household, computer terminal or mobile device.
  4. If you have a pending message on the Site’s cashier regarding your recent gaming activity, we reserve the right to revoke your eligibility to participate and/or continue to participate in this Promotion. In such an event, any bonus and/or other benefit which you have received and/or are eligible to receive under this Promotion, shall be forfeited by you.
  5. All times and dates are in GMT.
  6. All bonuses and promotional offers, and any winnings generated through the wagering of either of the aforesaid, will be cancelled at withdrawal if any of the applicable conditions have not been met in full.
  7. We may cancel, modify or suspend the promotion, bonus or special offer, including without limitation, where required for security reasons, to comply with applicable law or regulation due to abuse or otherwise where the promotion is not capable of being conducted as specified as a result of exceptional circumstances.
  8. You hereby agree to these terms and conditions which govern the Promotion, along with the “User Agreement' which includes but is not limited to the 'Bonus Policy'.
  9. Your deposit balance (defined as Transaction Balance under our Withdrawal Policy) is available for withdrawal at any time. General withdrawal terms apply - for further info see our Withdrawal Policy. 

Eligibility

  1. You may only participate in this Promotion if you: (i) are a registered member and maintain an account with the Site (ii) reside in the United Kingdom; (iii) paid the $1 buy-in to one of the promotion qualifying tournaments.
  1. You may be asked at any stage to provide us with a proof of age and/or identity.

The Promotion and Participation

  1. Under the terms of this Promotion, the Company will run on the Site two (2) qualifying tournaments, the first on January 16th, 2019 and the second on January 18th, 2019, each will start at 9pm GMT (each shall be referred to as the 'Qualifying Tournament').
  2. Participation in Qualifying Tournament is based on completion of registration to participate at the Qualifying Tournament and will require eligible member to pay buy-in in the amount of $1.
  3. The top 5 players from each Qualifying Tournament will automatically qualify to the “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” that will take place on November 18th at 9pm GMT.

The winner of the “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” ('Winner') will win a special prize package as specified in section 19 below, for the Winner and additional two friends of the Winner's choice, subject to the below.

The two friends that will be selected by the Winner will need to have an active 888poker account and reside in the United Kingdom. As a prerequisite condition for their participation and receipt of the $888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final Prizes (as defined below), each of the selected friends might be requested by Company to undertake and confirm in writing the applicable terms and conditions as set forth herein concerning the grant of the $888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final Prizes.  

  1. The Winner will be informed by email, and be required to respond and acknowledge his\\ her participation and send his 2 friend’s 888poker usernames within 72 hours after the email is sent.
  2. If the Winner fails to respond as required, then the prizes will be transferred to the “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” runner-up.
  3. The Winner and his chosen friends will be required to arrive to London on February 7th 2019 in order to participate in marketing and publicity activities for the Site (the “Promotion Activities”).
  4. The Winner and each of his\\her selected friends, who attend the Promotional Activities grants Company and its affiliates, an exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, fully paid up, royalty free right and license to use his/her name, answers and likeness and to reproduce, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, and make derivative works based upon, photographs and/or video recordings of such Winner and each of his\\her selected friends taken or recorded by Company and/or its permitted designees during or in connection with the Promotional Activities in any and all online and offline media whether known or developed in the future including but not limited to television, radio, websites, webcasts and social media (which includes but is not limited to Twitter and Facebook). In addition, the Winner and each of his\\her selected friends expressly waives any claims against Company and its affiliates, in this regard. The Winner and each of his\\her selected friends will be required to sign Company's Release and Wavier Form prior to attending the Promotional Activities as a condition to participate and the entitlement to the benefits granted under this Promotion.

The Prize

  1. The Winner of the “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” will be awarded with the following prize package (the: “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final Prizes'):
  1. Special '888poker Live London Main Event' prize package valued at US$1,200 to the “888poker Live London Kickoff 2019” which consists of: (i) Buy-in entry to the “888poker Live London Kickoff 2019” valued at US$550 (paid by the Company directly to the tournament organizer); (ii) US$350 for 3 nights’ accommodation between 7th February– 9th February 2019 at the holiday inn – Stratford city located at Chestnnut Plaza, 10a Montfichet Rd, London E20 1GL, United Kingdom ('Hotel') (paid by the Company directly to the Hotel) (iii) US$300 for travel and expenses (paid by the Company directly to the Winner’s poker account); (iv) an invitation to the 888poker welcome session; (v) an 888live poker kit ((i)- (v) collectively the “888poker Live London Kickoff 2019” Prize package).
  2. Premier league match ticket for the Tottenham – Leicester City game that will be held at Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium (Location TBD) on February 10th 2019 at 1:30pm GMT.
  3. A seat and £1,000 budget to participate in the “Bros vs Pros” cash game that will be held on February 9th 2019 at Aspers Casino (Westfield Stratford City, 312 Montfichet Rd, London E20 1ET, UK).
  1. The Winner and each of his\\her selected friends cannot redeem the $888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final Prizes for cash or transfer the $888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final Prizes in any way. On the occasion that the Winner and each of his\\her selected friends is unable to attend the “888poker London Festival 2018” and\\or Arsenal – Tottenham game and\\or Bros vs Pros” cash game (for any reason), the monetary value of the relevant 888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final Prizes will not be paid to the Winner and\\or to each of his\\her selected friends nor will the relevant 888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final Prizes be provided, nor any of the forgoing be entitled to receive any part of the relevant 888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final Prizes.
  2. The Winner and his friends will be registered to play in the “888poker Live London Kickoff 2019” Event on February 8th - Day 1C ONLY, without exceptions
  3. The Company will not be responsible for arranging transportation from the Winner's and\\or any of his\\her selected friends' home to the airport and from the airport to the Hotel, nor any related parking expenses.
  4. By participating in this Promotion, Winner herby agree to act as an ambassador for the Site at the “888poker Live London Kickoff 2019”, which includes wearing exclusively throughout the duration the “888poker Live London Kickoff 2019” including the final table the branded clothing/ patch provided by the Company.
  5. The Company will not be responsible for any tax liability associated with the $888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final Prizes.
  6. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age to play in the “888poker Live London Kickoff 2019”. All entrants to the event will be required to produce proof of age (passport or other valid picture ID). Entrants who are not able to present such proof will be excluded from participation in the 888poker Live London Kickoff 2019 with no compensation.
  7. By participating in the Promotion and winning the “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” Prizes, the Winner and each of his selected friends grants the Company, its affiliates as well as their marketing affiliates, a world-wide, sub-licensable, perpetual, royalty free, irrevocable right to use his/her name, image, voice and likeness for promotional and publicity promotional and marketing purposes (whether online or offline) for the Site without any compensation and the Winner and each of his selected friends expressly waives any claims against the Company and all companies within the 888 group of companies in this regard. Each of Winner's selected friends will be required to undertake and confirm the forgoing in writing towards Company as a condition for their participation and receipt of the '“$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” Prizes.
  8. Company does not endorse any deals whatsoever in any of our tournament qualifiers and as a result will not be held responsible or liable for settling any private deals made between members.
  9. During the “888poker Live London Kickoff 2019” and the 'Bros vs Pros” cash game, strict rules regarding player behavior will be enforced by the tournament organizers, which may include disqualification. If Winner is penalized or disqualified at the “888poker Live London Kickoff 2019” and\\or 'Bros vs Pros” cash game as a results of his\\her behavior by infraction of the rules set forth by the tournament organizers, the Company assumes no responsibility or liability for your entry into the event and no refund will be provided.
  10. All Site fraud and collusion rules apply. Any fraudulent activity will result in the Winner losing its “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” Prizes (and his/her friends not being able to receive any part of the “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” Prizes) and the Company reserves the right to take additional action against the Winner and\\or any of his\\her selected friends, which may include but not be limited to termination of the Winner’s and\\or any of his\\her selected friends' account, as well as disqualification from this Promotion.
  11. THE WINNER AND EACH OF HIS\\HER SELECTED FRIENDS MUST BE IN POSSESSION OF A VALID PASSPORT FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS BEYOND THE CONCLUSION OF THE “888poker Live London Kickoff 2019” AND THE WINNER AND EACH OF HIS\\HER SELECTED FRIENDS IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING ANY VISA (IF REQUIRED) AND/OR ESTA (IF REQUIED) TO TRAVEL TO THE UNITED KINGDOM. THE COMPANY ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WINNER AND EACH OF HIS\\HER SELECTED FRIENDS BEING UNABLE TO TRAVEL DUE TO LACK OF APPROPRIATE TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION AND THE MONETARY VALUE OF THE LIVE LONDON ME PRIZE PACKAGE WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED.
  12. The Winner and each of his\\her selected friends will be solely responsible for arranging his/her travel arrangements to and from the “888poker Live London Kickoff 2019” and shall be responsible for taking out his/her own travel insurance which includes but is not limited to medical insurance and lost luggage insurance.
  13. The Company is not responsible for changing flights, accommodation and anything else relating to the itinerary after the Winner and\\or each of his\\her selected friends has chosen his/her travel arrangements.
  14. By entering this Promotion each entrant grants the Company and any third party vendors providing any services in relation to the “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” Prizes, the right to provide his/her personal details to the third party vendor in order to have the prize delivered to such entrant
  15. If the Winner's and\\or each of his\\her selected friends' account with the Site has been closed or self-excluded at any time up until the “888poker Live London Kickoff 2019” takes place, he/she will not be eligible for receiving any of the “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” Prizes and the monetary value of any of the “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” Prizes will not be reimbursed.
  16. By entering the promotion each entrant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless the Company, its legal representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any damages whatsoever arising out of this Promotion or the awarding or use of any of the “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” Prizes.
  17. The Winner and each of his\\her selected friends' may be required to complete and sign an insurance waiver with any third party vendor providing services in relation to any of the “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” Prizes prior to being allowed to take up the relevant 888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final Prize. The Winner and each of his\\her selected friends' may also be required by the Company or by any third party vendor providing services in relation to any of the “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” Prizes to sign further documents before delivery of the relevant “$888 Bros vs. Pros 888poker Live London Final” Prize.
  18. These terms and conditions have been drafted in the English language. In the event of any discrepancy between the meanings of any translated versions of these terms and conditions and the English language version, the meaning of the English language version shall prevail.
  19. Any provisions herein which by their nature are required to survive termination or expiration of this Promotion in order to achieve their purpose shall so survive until it shall no longer be necessary for them to survive in order to achieve that purpose.
