Explanation of Call
Historically, the term “see” was sometimes used to indicate a call. “I see your bet”.
In live games the decision to call does not always need to be vocalized. It’s possible to make a call simply by putting the appropriate chips into the middle in one smooth motion.
Note that calling can only occur if a player has already made a bet on the current street. If no bet has been made, then our options are to either check or bet.
Example of Call used in a sentence -> Our opponent raised our flop continuation bet and we decided to call.
